Hi! I was thinking of opening chat this coming Friday and was wondering if anyone's up for it. That'll be Sept 3, probably starting by 9pm EST or earlier, depending on what time I'll get home from work. That's roughly sixteen days from the deadline, so I thought that there might be people who'd love to just sit around and chat about what might be foremost on their minds!

Non-participants can also join in the fun this Friday. The more the merrier! See you then!

Do you guys mind if us Europeans start a lot earlier? Like 9pm my local time? That would be 2pm EST. Otherwise I'd have to wait 4am local time before I can chat.

I'm all for it! :D We used to have several legs for the chat to cover all time zones, but we don't have anyone to organize that anymore :(

Not much to organize; just clicking the banner get's the chat going (if you have the AIM software installed).
I'm willing to enter the room at 2 EST, tomorrow.

Alrighty then! Just don't forget to post a notice up here when you do enter, I'm not sure if I'd be online arond that time. (Which is like, 2am here :D )

Oh, sorry I wasn't clear. I'm actually in Asia, at GMT+8, but I'm so used to rendering time in EST I always use it in posts. :D

Yup, we can do that! It's definitely a case of as long as we have people around, we can have fun.

(Pssst. 2am would be me still at work, but I can try sneaking in sometime. :D
