Non-chat Drabbles~
Okay, so you guys know how we do drabbles in
blind_go chat sometimes? Well, we're going to do that in this post here so everyone can participate, not just the people that happen to be in chat at the time. As always, this includes readers and non-readers alike. Cool, right? :D
For anybody that's unfamiliar, here's how we play:
1. Somebody comments with a short prompt. Remember, this has to be written in a drabble, so prompts that are longer than the writing probably aren't a good idea. :P
2. The next person fills it! By definition, a drabble is 100 words, so that's what's required here. EXACTLY 100 words of fic. If you need one, this online word count comes highly recommended. (Also note, it's great for
blind_go fics, too!)
3. When you fill a prompt, make another thread with a prompt for the next person. And so on.
4. One drabble per prompt please! Also one prompt/drabble per comment thread, just to make reading easier for everyone.
5. Using
blind_go ID's (or your own made up one, if you're not writing this round) is allowed and encouraged. Of course, you can always stay signed in or just be an anonymouse as well. All are great options. :D
6. All comments to this post should be for drabble writing and prompting only. If people want to leave feedback or commentary, you can post it at the support thread.
Also, this is the last of the participation-y posts... at least during the writing process. In case you missed them, there's also a round robin and a free the bunnies post. Enjoy and have fun!

I'll start us off...
Something Borrowed
(Anonymous) 2011-04-14 06:03 am (UTC)(link)Akari approached him with a melancholy smile, her hands smoothing his tie where he’d rumpled it. “I’m glad you’re happy,” she said simply, and tucked a small, blue handkerchief into his front pocket.
“What’s this for?” Hikaru asked, fingering the material.
She flushed slightly. “Something borrowed, something blue… It’s a western tradition.” She looked like she might say more, but instead, she pushed him towards the doors. “Don’t keep Touya waiting.”
He took a deep breath and headed toward his perfect future.

Dark Thoughts
Every night!
Every night his living companion would switch off the lights and go to bed WITHOUT even opening a book or magazine for the ghost to read!
And than the former Heian noble would be stuck sitting in the dark looking at the backs of books that were to remain forever closed.
It was so unfair!
Didn't he do enough for the boy in his waking hours?
As these thoughts chased around his head Sai hunkered down for another boring night.
And in the morning when Hikaru awoke, Sai forgot all his angry thoughts.
As he did every morning

Waya brought a laptop to lunch and he's trying to show Shindou how to play 'net Go.
"Was 'Link' taken already? Or did you do it on purpose? I don't wanna do this if I have to use a girl's name--"
Waya bangs his head against the table top. They're always a spectacle, like they haven't learned to save their drama for the goban. They'd be better if they controlled themselves.
"--'cause girls can't play Go."
Nase bangs Shindou's head against the table top.

Unnoticed
(Anonymous) 2011-04-19 01:56 am (UTC)(link)When Shindou made his way over to Waya, Touya in tow, Waya’s eyes could have burned holes into the side of Touya’s head, but he didn’t notice – was too busy looking at Shindou.
Mid-Shindou ramble, he got up, making an excuse to be elsewhere. With an unnoticed parting glance, he disappeared into the crowd.
