Hello, fellow Hikago fans! As you've probably seen, sign ups for round 11 of blind_go  have arrived, and you guys know what that means: lots and lots of flailing, starting now! For anyone new to our challenge here, this is the place we come to flail, cry, procrastinate, plot, ask and answer questions, and support each other.

Anonymouse is encouraged, especially if there could be clues to your fic, but obviously isn't required, and comments will be screened during the guessing period just in case.

Writers: Complaints about lack of progress, procrastinating, requests for ideas, and more are all awesome.

Readers: You guys are more than welcome to participate too! Leave your reassurances, fanfic ideas, and helpful random spam here.

Okay, guys, I have a thought. This is very obviously self serving- but I'm hoping that other people can be helped in the process. ^_^;;;

I am probably not the only writer who's pinged by music. When I'm trying to go bunny hunting, I pull up a playlist for whatever I'm trying to write. Sometimes even one line of a song can prompt something completely unrelated.

But so far, for this particular round, I'm having a hard time coming up with songs that could work for a playlist- aside from the few standard instrumental songs that are on every writing playlist, Hikago music of course, and "I'm Just a Kid" by Simple Plan (http:// http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GOR5gvQwDI). XD

My proposal is this: if you can think of anything that might possibly be even a little appropriate for the Childhood theme, put it here. (Links would be awesome too, if you're so inclined.) Maybe we can all lure some bunnies, yeah? :D

In the interest of the helping other people thing, I'm posting what I -did- find to put in my playlist once I sat down and combed through my music. I'd like to note that these aren't necessarily about childhood or even really related at all- some of them are just associated with childhood for me personally for one reason or another. Hi. :D I had a question that I was hoping someone could possibly answer, being the epic source of Hikago info that you all are~

Are Kaga's parents ever given names? I don't think that they were, at least in canon, but you never know if it might've been said by the mangaka in some dark corner of the internet somewhere. It's probably pretty safe to just make up some up, but I'd rather not step on any toes here if they were in fact given canon names at some point. Thanks! <3

I've read that Ogata is in his thirties at this point, but does anyone have an exact birthyear for him? Also, is there any information about his family, like siblings or anything, in the fanbooks?
