Round 007 has officially begun, which means it's officially time to flail and procrastinate and leave wily and cryptic comments, and just, yanno, generally have fun. ^_^

Feel free to post anonymously if you want to avoid leaving any clues for guessing. (We'll also screen all the comments on this thread during the two week guessing period, just to be safe.)

Well, if they're linked scenarios, maybe write them within one fic rather than as seperate? Keep in mind, too, that as long as you have a segment that's able to stand alone, you don't have to have completed everything you think the fic should be in the end - see that epic yakuza piece a few rounds back, for example.

Help! I want to write a fic about something I may have posted snippets before. What should I do? Should I abandon the idea or push through hoping no one has seen them?

Those snippets have no comments, so I'm really going out on a limb here in thinking no one knows them!

ummmmmm, i had a similar problem with a fic idea... but. i would suggest... go ahead and write it, and figure that either the people who read your snippets might have a clue, but otherwise, the fic will help advertize your snippets??? OR, you could write that out, and see what other ideas you might have between now and then, annnnnd if you come up with other stuff between then, well, you can just post the snippet-related fic non-bg-ishly???

otherwise, i don't think there's anything really WRONG with having it connected to other fics. i mean, some things are just... part of head-canon, too, and those types of things can be clues to savvy guessers. ^_~

Option 1: Write a fic that I owe to someone from a previous round of blind_go and basically make no attempt to hide myself. (It will be sad if people still aren't able to guess me, if I go with this option.)

Option 2: Write a fic that I owe to someone from a drabble request meme (the reason why it hasn't been filled is because it's too long for a drabble). Again, make no attempt to hide myself.

Option 3: Write a sequel to an old fic. See above on hiding myself.

Option 4: Write a crack AU/crossover that no one will suspect is me.

Please note that finishing more than one of these is out of the question. Also, why am I even bothering to be anonymous?

I need some help. I have trouble understanding about the professional Go world. What are some of the major tournaments out there? In Japan and Abroad. And what about titles? And what sort of rank would a Go prodigy like Touya or a more average Go player hold?

The last part (the ranking) I realized has changed a bit in these past few years. But I'm still not clear about it.

If someone can direct me somewhere, I'd greatly appreciate it!
