Have any good igo links to share? Info on the Heian era or Shuusaku's era (the golden age of go)? Japanese culture in general? Please share them on this thread! Here's what I've got to offer:

General Hikago site:

Crystal Moon (Very comprehensive!)

Igo sites:

Sensei's Library (This is an AMAZING resource. Has a Hikago page and a list of kifu databases, among many, many other things. A good place to start is the beginner's page.)

GoBase.org (Frankly, this site makes my head hurt.)

Mind Sports Zine (Hasn't been updated since 2001, but still interesting and full of juicy gossip.)

The Interactive Way to Play Go (http://playgo.to/interactive/), which explains the basics in a simple, step by step manner.

Goproblems.com (http://www.goproblems.com/) When you want to step the game up a notch by solving problems.

Dash and Dot (http://english.dashn.com/) A Baduk website. Get used to the English, and visit the site map to see an overview of the game and illustrated proverbs.

After hanging around GoBase and finding a few save files of go games, try multigo (http://www.go4go.net/english/software.jsp) to view those sgf files. Download fuseki and joseki dictionaries and trace different branches.

For a more philosophical bent, William Cobb's The Empty Board essays (http://www.slateandshell.com/BillCobbEmptyBoard1.asp) at Slate and Shell speak of the connections between Go and Buddhist ideals.

The Magic of Go (http://www.yomiuri.co.jp/dy/columns/0001/) by Rob Van Zeijst is also a place to visit.

Um, never mind, but a blog of someone learning wei qi in China (http://gostudent.blogspot.com/).

That's it, I suppose.

Also, even if a syndicated feed of recgamesgo (http://syndicated.livejournal.com/recgamesgo/profile) is available now, it tends to get spammed by the strangest things. Better to stick to the sites from sensei's library.
