You should probably refrain from actually guessing the authors of the fics. But otherwise feel free to squee, whine, exclaim, etc.

I'm sad that I don't know a lot of these crossovers! The ones I know and the AUs are sooo good though.

The fics this round came off very rushed as a whole. There's a couple excellent efforts, but many feel half-hearted.

I think that at least some of this could perhaps be attributed to problems with scope for those doing AUs. It may have been difficult to keep a beginning and ending point in mind for those authors preoccupied with world-building, and difficult to keep perspective if time got away from them. Others have mentioned the time of year as well.

It's very likely a combination of those factors. Some writers felt the constraints of the form, which is understandable.

It's definitely the timing that wreaked the most havoc with my writing time. I had so many ideas for crossovers and AUs but they all went down the drain because I just didn't have the time.

Agreed with what was said above. Personally, I find AU's to be more time-consuming than long-fic; the deadline for this round seemed to come all too soon...

Am I the only one who loved the Jem fic? There was so many little details! The casting made so much sense, but I'm almost afraid to comment because almost no one else has. Do they know something I don't?

Then again, aishuu liked it, so........

I haven't read it, but I think that if you like it, you should let the author know. Who cares if other people don't like it or haven't left a comment?

I'm soo annoyed!!! Two days after the deadline I get the most awsome AU idea... Oh well I'll write it anyway, not that there's anything wrong whit the fic I posted but this idea is so much more awsome...Ah well darn.

I'm really amazed by all the wonderful ideas I've seen this round just by skimming fics in the five minutes I've had at the computer since my holiday. We need more AU/Crossover rounds. ^_^

I'm thinking that no one has guessed yet because no one has any clue who anyone is because theres a bunch of n00bs. Not that its bad to be a n00b, its just hard to tell writing style for Hikago when some of these people have written very little and maybe none for Hikago. Myself? I have no clue.

I'm one of those n00bs (thought the term bother me a little bit makes me feel like I'm one of those people in forums who breaks the rules (and un written rules) and everyone hates, no wonder I feel uncomftrabel going near them, I like this place thought and I get that it's not meant as an insult)
Anyway back on track, I get why it would be hard to identify me for exampel scince I only have one posted fanfic, and for another fandom.
Then again I can't really guess cause I haven't read enough by everyone else to have any idea what so ever and I spent a few nights this summer reading all previous fic's from all rounds of blindgo, I also watched and read Hikaru no Go this summer for the first time which is why I haven't been anywhere near this fandom before.
It's great thought, I'm as obbsessed whit Hikago and Hikago fanfic's as I am whit the other fandom I stalk (and I do sertainly need a little break from that other fandom, it's getting harder and harder to find descent fic's.

Oh and the subject of this anserw was lost to me ages and ages ago, I tend to get of track, I'm kind off a talkactive person and apparetly this is how I act that out on the net.

Anyway I suggest then completly randomly guess, one might hit a few rights from that, right?

I've been making guesses where I _think_ I've got an idea who might have written it. But I have to say, this round's a lot more difficult to guess. I've only gotten two answers right so far!

I just want to say HA! because one of the most obvious clues about who I am and what I've written that have proven true in the past is no longer applicable to this round. At least, not in a very obvious in-your-face way. *g*
