So. Here is a new kind of support thread. Who else is done--and utterly shocked at how HORRIBLE what they have produced is? Done and hating every single word? Done and wanting to die rather than face the shame of fandom knowing you have written SOMETHING THIS BAD? Done and wondering desperately if any sort of edit could possibly salvage this or whether it's better to start over or just be done with it and commit ritual suicide? Hate your plot? Hate your characterization? Hate your structure, your title, probably yourself and everyone around you?

Friend, you are not alone *lol*

Whine and complain here. I'm sure I can't be the only one, and we (whoever makes up we) are here for you ^_^.

My title is so atrociously bad that I kind of want to shoot myself over that alone. It was a joke of a working title, and now all of a sudden it's stuck, and my evil beta claims it's awesome (she liiiiiiiieeeeeeeees) and I should use it.

Ah, come on. I think this is a good way for people to vent their stress. If we all realize that everyone else thinks their fic sucks, too, we'll be more likely to send our own fics off and come what may (at least this was my plan initially--to make people bond and relax over self-hatred XD). But thanks for the nice compliment all the same.

Well, okay. Not the "be quiet," probably shouldn't have said that. XD I take that part back. We all need to vent, and most of us are so much harder on our fics than other people are, so most of us are convinced that our fics SUCK. Hell, I'm in that category myself. ^_^

However. I still maintain that everyone is made of shiny and I'm sure that the stuff doesn't suck. <333

At least you've finished! I'm not even halfway in (~2300 words right now) and it's awful and my characterization is atrocious and I barely remember canon. Haha, I had the opposite problem. I had NO IDEAS until I finally got one on Monday. Unfortunately, being the slowest writer in the existence of writing,it takes me a few hours to get even a couple hundred words. So I don't know if I'll finish in time or not, but I'm planning on not sleeping tonight, and writing that whole time (except an hour or two alloted for homework). Bah.
