What be this drabble thing again?
Hikaru hates his blackberry, it was so addictive and useful, but just small enough that it Always got lost at the most inconvenient times. Looking around not even catch a glimpse of its shiny purple case. He hates to do it but he walks up to the second door in the hall. Knocking softly, "Touya?"
After a space of time he hears a mumbled. "Wha?" from the other side of the door.
Knowing its hopeless he opens the door, "Akira have you seen my blackberry?"
"urple stupid, last table"
Hikaru start translating his room mates comments just as he glimpses the clock on Touya's desk table, "Crap," turning he goes to the farthest little table from Touya's door. There innocently siting is a purple sanity saver. "You are getting me in trouble again Sai. If Touya remembers me waking him it will be dishes for a week you know."
Popping up his schedule for the day, he sees he has ten minutes till his first tutoring of the day nine block away. Hikaru starts to rush for the door never putting down his machine ghost for a second.
In my defense, it is very, VERY late. -_-
Hikaru gripped the fan so hard it dug into his palm. Ow. Well, that was kind of dumb, but it reminded him that the fan was THERE. Reminded him why he was there. Right. Okay. He could do this. A determined look came over his face and he dug his fingers into the cool stones, taking one before setting it down on the goban forcefully. He was going to win, dammit. He had to prove him wrong about everything.
Ko smirked from across the board. Now this was going to be interesting.

Wordcount: 112 words. Ugh. I PHAIL. EDIT: okay, now 100 words because I JUST LIKE CUTTING MODIFIERS.
Isumi saw the Five missed calls before Waya picked the Nokia up and flipped it shut: clamshell, slimline, subtly reflecting light from ceiling lamps, and certainly more expensive than one would think prudent to be owning on a 2-dan's salary.
"Problems at home?" he asked, settling into the familiar ritual of listening.
Waya rolled his eyes, readied to pour forth rant, and Isumi smiled, noticing Waya's fingers clutching the cellphone - it had been from Waya's mother when he first moved out, and it was proof of how this conversation would end, before it had even begun.

Hikaru and Akira deserve each other.
